My videographer Raeshem with a few of the dancers. See how they flex their tummy muscles for the picture? Too bad the one in the white cap (background) didn't get in the photos. He was so cute!

It was just such an overwhelming feeling pulling through the Flatiron intersection. So many people, so much energy. And the sun came out.

We saw this man later on down on Christopher Street. Yes, that is a real parrot on his head.

I'm riding the W Hotels float in the Gay Pride March today.
Beyond my family, the most influential people in my life, the people who have been the kindest to me, the best people I have ever known have always been gay. From my late, favorite high school teacher who, at the time, was one of the only teachers I knew who really believed in me, to the best, most honest mentor I had in freshman year of college, to my closest most trustworthy friends today -- the people who have touched my life the most are gay. I love all of them. And I've never understood why anyone, especially people I love, can be persecuted, even today, based on who they love.
See you at the march!
